Underdown Bird Supplies do not manufacture or import chook houses. There are a lot of good chook house builders out there, and one such are Appletons. We are pleased to detail their chook houses here but will pass on enquiries to be dealt with directly by them. We take no commission for this and detail them just so that our customers have them available as a trusted supplier. All dealings over these houses will be direct with the manufacturer and Underdown Bird Supplies will not enter into any discussion over them. We are only likely to confuse things if we try and act as the middle man!

The chook houses are flat pack and Appletons will arrange freight for you at cost. Alternatively, they will assemble them for you if you wish to pick them up.

* professionally built, quality KITSET design with easy-to-follow assembly instructions
* built on skids for easy towing around the paddock
* solid plywood floor
* quality coloursteel roof with flashing at each end
* quality square mesh on one side for good ventilation
* good person-sized doors for easy access
* pop holes for chicken access (we place it where you want it!)
* opening and closing pop-holes – lockable at night
* 3 nest boxes with each house accessed from the outside and watertight (sealed with a waterproof strip)
* perches are removable for easy cleaning
* Overall size:2.4m  x 1.2m x 1.8m high to the apex inside / 2m high outside.
* Each house is 1.2m by 1.2m by 1.8m high
* nest boxes are external to this measurement
* 6 nest boxes in total, 3 on each side

**OPTIONAL EXTRA : This model is available with a KITSET enclosed chicken run built out the front.
Top netting optional – helps to keep the light breeds in and the sparrow out!
